BHS is looking for a Manufacturing Analyst to join the team.
In this position, you will support the facility in developing and implementing production, processing, and controls standards to meet quality initiatives. You will facilitate manufacturing process improvements, throughput improvements, quality, ergonomic and safety improvements and reductions of non-value added processes/procedures. You will also interface with multiple departments throughout the company including subsidiaries.
If you have these qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities . . .
- 7 years’ manufacturing environment experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of industrial system or mechanical product design
- Proficiency in 3D solid modeling required. Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks experience preferred
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Program or project administrative support experience
- Ability to design for manufacturability, costs and materials flow process understanding
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects at one time while maintaining a high degree of organization
And can handle these responsibilities . . .
- Coordinating the BHS Oregon Manufacturing Extension Partnership (OMEP) internal training modules and participating as a member of the oversight committee for BHS
- Completing administrative tasks related to trainings including scheduling, preparing module packets, tracking attendance and buyoff of all employee OMEP training completions
- Liaising between production team and Engineering teams to resolve print issues, part issues, dimensional errors, material callout errors, and title block change errors
- Conducting root cause analysis and troubleshooting problems impacting production including Quality Control
- Conducting performance measurements of existing manufacturing processes to achieve quality of production, Just-in-Time (JIT), Complete and On Time (COT) and Continuous Improvement (CI) goals using time studies in the development and maintenance of standards and work methods, and compiling reports and presentations as needed
- Aiding in process flow designs and producing required fixture drawings for production
- Tracking fabrication, installation and preventative maintenance of BHS produced equipment and machines for assets in the area
- Analyzing equipment design and making recommendations to purchase or build equipment that is most effective in maximizing the efficiency of existing and new manufacturing processes that are safe and environmentally correct
- Preparing layouts for manufacturing processes in conjunction with line balancing flow work
